The Industrial Electric Company of Charlotte (IECC) has been a trusted name in commercial electrical contracting since the years following World War II. Founded by brothers Shorty and Garner Eakes, we quickly established ourselves as one of the premier electrical contractors in North Carolina and South Carolina. Late-Century

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, we expanded our expertise to specialize in heavy commercial and industrial electrical services. This included complex installations such as data centers, telecom rooms, industrial processes, heavy power distribution, facility grounding, and generator/UPS/transfer gear systems. Today, we continue to lead the way in these areas, providing reliable, cutting-edge solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers.
